Ouarzazate comes alive to the rhythms of Ahwash Arts

🎉 12th National Ahwash Arts Festival in Ouarzazate from May 24 to 26

The city of Ouarzazate will host the 12th edition of the National Ahwash Arts Festival, from May 24 to 26, 2025, under the theme:

🎶 "Ahwash Arts in the Rhythms of the World".

This cultural event aims to highlight the region's cultural richness, preserve its intangible heritage, and promote it through regional, national, and international outreach. The festival will showcase this traditional art form with a scenographic presentation blending authentic heritage elements with contemporary creativity.

The program includes special performances by national and international folkloric troupes, artistic shows across public squares, an academic symposium on Ahwash Arts with expert researchers, a vibrant carnival parading through the city streets, and an exhibition dedicated to traditional crafts and arts.
